I have recently become an Amazon Affiliate. It made sense for me and my blog. I chose to do this because I use Amazon A LOT! I enjoy the ease and convenience of it and let’s not forget the price is pretty hard to beat!

However I think you may be surprised at what a good selection of equestrian clothing, tack, equipment, feed and horsey accessories they have on there.

Amazon is quick, easy and very convenient and they ship worldwide. For me in France this is a big plus. I can connect with brands that normally I would have to pay a lot in shipping when I order something and get it delivered here.

Here are my top picks of the best equestrian brands you can shop for on Amazon. Just click on the picture to take you straight to Amazon to get your internet shopping fix!

    1. Ariat.

You will find a wide choice of Ariat riding, paddock and country boots at very reasonable prices.

2. Le Miuex

If you have matchy matchy goals, then Le Mieux is the go to brand. You can shop for your  horse and clothing for yourself on Amazon.

3. Kevin Bacon’s Hoof Care.

One of the leading hoof care companies around, Amazon have a large range of their products for your perusal!

4. Blue Chip Feed Balancer

There are many horse feed companies on Amazon including Dengie, Blue Chip, Allen and Page and Dodson and Horrell to name a few. How nice would it be to have your heavy feed delivered to your yard?!

5. Wintec Saddlery

There is a lot of  Wintec Saddlery products on Amazon, you can even buy a saddle on there!

6. Mark Todd.

Mark Todd products were a personal fav of mine when I had my own horse. I love Mark Todd and think his products are great.

Hi everyone just a super quick post for April. As really there are too many clothes and shoes that I want to buy to list today!

The things that really stood out for me this month have been the leopard print (swoon) Ariat Cruise Sliders and the beautiful photos on instagram of the brand ambassadors riding on the beach showing off their Honest Riders slogan tees.

Louise’s March Look Book Part 2 – Dreamers & Schemers socks

This week my look of the week goes to Dreamers and Schemers socks!

I received a pair as a Christmas gift and I love them! They are like long pop socks really, as they don’t have any seams. They are thin and comfortable and they have such cool patterns on. I picked this pastel pattern with unicorns and rainbows on, but there are all sorts of funny designs you can choose from avocados, goats and boobs just to name a few!

To grab yourself a pair head to the Dreamers & Schemers website you won’t regret it!

Let me know what design you choose if you do get a pair!

Louise’s March Look Book Part 1 – Black Heart Equestrian & Ariat

Equestrian fashion has come a long way since I was a kid. It’s something I absolutely love and each week I wish I had an unlimited budget to buy more and more boots, tops, jodhpurs and accessories to ride in that I have seen online. I am sure I am not the only one!

So I have decided to start ‘Louise’s Look Book’ so I can share my fashion inspiration with you all! Whether it be items I want to purchase or have purchased (none are paid or gifted – I would state that if this is the case). Also I thought it would be a cool way to find out about new brands or companies that you may not have heard of.

So to kick off this new feature I am going to start with 2 items that I absolutely love! Black Heart Equestrian Flex leggings and Ariat Grasmere H20 boots.

I have spoken about the Black Heart Flex leggings on the blog before – check out the review I did here. They are so comfortable and practical and come in plum (as pictured), black, burgundy, grey, royal blue, olive, teal and mauve. They are very flattering and they have a handy phone pocket on the side. They are available at blackheartequestrian for £40.

Ariat Grasmere H20 are THE most comfortable boots I have ridden in! I borrowed my friend’s as my boots broke one day and I am so glad I did! They are soft and you can really feel your horse’s side without the boots feeling thin. They have laces down the sides which are so pretty and are waterproof too. They are available at ariat for £270.

Also pictured my hat is by Just Togs and top by Zara.

Beat the January Blues with Boudica Equestrian!

Happy Monday everyone! Sorry it’s been a bit slow blog wise here of late. I have been a busy bee, but fear not I have been busy planning lots of exciting things for In Due Horse. So keep your eyes and ears peeled!

I must admit I have the post holiday blues today as I came back from a brilliant ski trip yesterday. But if you too are feeling a bit down – did you know that legitimately today January 21st ‘Blue Monday’ is actually the most depressing day of the year?!

Fear not my friends as I have teamed up with Boudica Equestrian (my new favourite shop) to change that for you!

Let me tell you a bit about Boudica. Founded in 2018 by Laura, Boudica Equestrian is an equestrian & leisure wear shop for horse and rider that stocks brands such as Montar, Chill Out, Hi Ho Silver & HKM to name a few.

They sell everything you could want as a rider including breeches, boots, jackets and have some very cool tee shirts too. They even offer a quiz on their website https://www.boudicaequestrian.co.uk/blog to help you find the perfect breeches. They also have very cool stuff for your horse and there’s even some things for your dog too!

One of Boudica’s pop up shops at an event last summer.

I was happy to collaborate with Boudica as I like to support small businesses, but also I also like their ethos as they promote ethical training & the practice of always putting the horse before your own goals. How cool is that?!

So be sure to sign up to their mailing list on their website to find out which breeches will fit you perfectly. If you do, you will be rewarded! Just use the code ‘DUEHORSE10’ for 10% off your purchase. https://www.boudicaequestrian.co.uk/blog

The In Due Horse Christmas Gift Guide

Or AKA Louise’s wish list!

With Christmas rapidly approaching, here are the list of things that have caught my eye as presents that I think any equestrian would like. Since entering the world of equestrian blogging I have discovered so many new companies that just seem to be offering really cool stuff. Here is my present wish list, which I hope will introduce you to these companies if you don’t know them already.

1) Dreamers & Schemers boot socks

(Photo taken from Dreamers & Schemers instagram page)

Boot socks but not your average boot socks, with designs such as Avocado Fam Jam, Sushi Love and Pony Ninja to name a few. These socks are totally unique & very funny. They even have booby socks & ones with cat butts on! I personally have my eye on Goat PJ Party ones. What a great stocking filler & I would say you wouldn’t even need to be a rider to like these. Go to http://www.dreamersnschemers.com/ to order.

2) Diary of a Wimpy Eventer book series.

(Photo taken from Wimpy Eventer instagram page)

Now since entering the wonderful world of equestrian blogging it quickly became apparent that I should read Victoria Brant aka The Wimpy Eventer’s books. I cannot count the amount of people I have seen on social media recommending them. I started following the Wimpy Eventer on social media a few months ago & I can honestly say that I find her to be funny, relatable and very inspiring. So I cannot wait to read her books. Available online at http://www.wimpyeventer.com/shop

3) Ariat riding boots

(Photo taken Ariateurope instagram page)

My riding boots broke recently and luckily for me Katie keeps her boots at the yard. I knew she wouldn’t mind if I borrowed her boots as she is great like that. So I rode in her Ariat Grasmere boots and wow I was so impressed! They are warm, comfortable and I could actually feel Mya’s sides when I rode (which I didn’t realise I couldn’t in my old boots until then). I was so impressed that they have ruined all other boots for me & I feel that I now need some Ariat country boots in my life! P.S. Confession – I haven’t just ridden in Katie’s boots once as I loved them so much!

To see the full range visit http://www.ariat.com.

4) Black Heart Equestrian Breeches.

(Photo taken from Black Heart Equestrian instagram page)

Now I am a major fan of this new brand of riding clothes. I have a hoody & a pair of their flex riding leggings already and would love a pair of their breeches. To be honest I would wear all of their clothes as they all look great. I have previously written a review of the flex riding leggings on the blog so if the breeches are as comfy and practical as the leggings, as I am sure they are then they would look & feel great.

To check out all of their awesome clothes go to http://www.blackheartequestrian.com.

5) Gray & Co Horses & day drinking tee.

(Photo taken from http://www.graycodesigns.com)

Funny and it looks good. This tee from Gray & Co is on my list as well it’s just a bit of fun! I also have my eye on their baddest bay on the block saddle pad too for Mya. This company just seems to have cool fun stuff which I really like the look of. Check out their website for more fun clothes and accessories http://www.graycodesigns.com.

I hope you have been inspired for some present ideas now or perhaps have more things to add to your own Christmas list. Either way I hope you have a great Christmas (I know it’s a bit early but we all need a bit of time to start shopping don’t we?!) Be sure to come back to check out more festive themed blogs on In Due Horse a bit closer to chrimbo.

Product Review : Black Heart Equestrian Flex Riding Leggings

Ok so since I have started blogging I have a favourite new brand of riding clothes. Black Heart Equestrian! I bought some of their riding leggings recently. Firstly because I wanted thinner lighter clothes to ride in and I absolutely loved the look of them on their Instagram account.

When they arrived I was really impressed with the little personal touch they added by including a hand written thank you note.

The fit is perfect I am a UK size 8 and I ordered a small and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and thinner than regular jodhpurs which is why I wanted them. On the website they said they wanted the leggings to be able go from the stables to the gym and you really could do that if you wanted. I live in the city and I feel comfortable walking my dog in them and would happily work out in them too.

I also really like the colour. I chose plum but it was actually hard to choose which colour to buy as all of the colours are so nice. The flex riding leggings also come in black, burgundy, grey, royal blue, mauve, teal and olive.

I have recently come back to riding and I have found this brand is modern, fashionable and very practical. One of my favourite things about the leggings is the phone pocket on the side of the leg. You can pop your phone in there before you ride and it is neatly and safely tucked away. It does not fall out when you mount or dismount your horse either!

Another great thing about Black Heart is that they ship internationally. They are based in the U.K. and I live in France and my order was delivered to me in less than a week. They have a handy currency converter on their website too which is great, so I can see how much everything is in euros.

So I if I haven’t convinced you already you really must check out Black Heart Equestrian. The company is new and is run by a student named Erin who models most of their clothes on their website (although you would never know she isn’t a professional model). Erin is also an international dressage rider with a gorgeous stallion that features regularly on their Instagram page. Kudos to Erin bearing in mind she has only just turned 21,this company is so professional!

I really like all of their clothes. They are practical for riding but look really fashionable, I also bought a full zip hoody from them in the clearance sale for just £20, which I absolutely love too. I look forward to buying more from them soon.

To check out their store visit http://www.blackheartequestrian.com.

Please note I am not affiliated to Black Heart Equestrian in anyway, I am just very impressed with the product and the service I received from them. Thanks Black Heart!
